Tuition fees

Below you will find the tuition fees for the various Bachelor and Master programmes at BI Norwegian Business School.

BI Norwegian Business School is a self-owned, not-for-profit foundation whose sole focus is education and research. Any profit will be used to strengthen BI’s research and learning environment in accordance with the objectives of the school.

Tuition fees include lectures and standard examination fees. Relevant course literature for programmes is an additional cost. The Management Board of BI Norwegian Business School reserves the right to adjust tuition fees annually.

Re-sit fee

The examination fee for the first exam attempt is normally included in the tuition fee.

Re-sit examinations are subject to a fee if there is no documentation of a legitimate absence from a previous exam within the specified deadlines or failure to withdraw a previous exam within the specified deadlines.

The re-sit fee is paid separately and is currently 310 NOK per credit point for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Student Welfare Organisations

In addition to tuition fees, full-time students must pay a fee on your invoice for membership in The Student Welfare Organisation at your place of study. All full-time students in Oslo are obligated to pay this fee each semester. You will be reminded of this fee, and if you do not pay it will be submitted to debt collection.

Part-time students can choose to pay a membership to the Student Welfare Organisation:
