BI Leading in Excellence: Ranked #2 Business School in the Nordics
1 December 2024The Financial Times ranks BI second in the Nordics and best in Norway in its European Business Schools Ranking for 2024.
The ranking places BI as number 42 of the top 100 schools that have qualified to be part of the list. BI retains its position as the second-best school in the Nordics, behind Stockholm School of Economics. In total, seven Nordic Schools are ranked by the FT.
“This ranking is an important benchmark for us, and shows students, employers and partners that we offer business education and research of the highest quality,” says Karen Spens, President at BI Norwegian Business School.
The European Business School ranking is based on the FT’s rankings of MBAs, Executive MBAs, Masters in Management and custom and open-enrolment executive education courses. BI normally participates in all rankings except full-time MBA, which the school does not offer.
Each of the rankings measures the quality of the school and programmes on indicators ranging from salaries and career progress to programme design and sustainability.
This is the 21st annual Financial Times European Business Schools Ranking. INSEAD tops this year’s list ahead of HEC Paris and London Business School.
“We are pleased that we maintain a strong foothold amongst the best business schools in Europe and remain the best in Norway in one of the most comprehensive rankings of European business education," says Spens.
