The programme is ranked as number 30 among 100 programmes which qualified to be part of FT’s short list of the best Executive MBA programmes worldwide.

“Our joint MBA programme offers a unique blend of global perspectives, business relevance and cultural exchange, enabled by the collaboration between BI and School of Management Fudan University in China. The programme is tailor made to provide our students with the skills, insights, and connections to thrive in the international business world,” says Karen Spens, President at BI Norwegian Business School.

Highest salary growth

The ranking is based on 16 indicators in total with salary (salary today and salary increase) being the most important criteria with a total weight of 31 percent.

The BI-Fudan MBA receives the highest result on FT’s ranking list in terms of salary growth, which accounts for 16 percent of the total score in the ranking, with an average salary increase of 126 percent between the graduates’ current salary compared to when they started the programme.

Top ranked alumni network

BI’s joint programme is also ranked as the best on FT’s alumni network ranking, counting for 4 percent of the total score. The ranking measures the effectiveness of the alumni network for career opportunities, recruiting staff and arranging career-related talks, rated by its alumni.

“These results reflect both the strong relationships and enduring networks that our graduates have formed as well as the influence of the curriculum, faculty, and attractiveness of our graduates, “says Spens.

This is the 24th edition of the FT’s annual ranking of the top EMBA programmes for senior working managers. Data for the ranking is collected using two online surveys, the first completed by participating schools and the second by alumni who completed programmes in 2021.
